ALL GAMES AT ALL SITES DELAYED ONE HOUR

Welcome to the Piedmont Community Lacrosse Association

We are a community based recreational lacrosse league that includes five counties- Alamance, Guilford, Forsyth, Davidson and Davie across central North Carolina. We represent nine programs within those counties that field both boys and girls teams. Our mission is to grow recreational lacrosse within our area by focusing on skill development for our players, training for our coaches and providing cost effective avenues for our families.

We will accomplish this by organizing a spring season that begins play in March and ends in May. Game days are on Saturdays with two practices during the week. Every player will get 50% playing time based on roster size. We encourage our players to be involved in other activities and sports but ask that they focus on getting to as many practices and games as possible during our season to maximize their skill development.

We do keep score.  Healthy competition on game day is encouraged but at the end of the game we meet and shake hands knowing that without someone to compete with we cannot develop our skills. We honor our opponent as teammates on our journey.

We do not crown champions. We celebrate individuals and teams that preform at a high level. We encourage our players to help those around them to achieve a higher level also. This is the true definition of sportsmanship.

We teach lacrosse. But our hope is our players, coaches and parents learn much more. Many life skills can be taken away by participating in youth sports. Those lessons can teach us much more than todays score.  The Creators Game is meant to be carried with us forever.  We welcome you to our tribe!
